An Evening with Widespread Panic

Widespread Panic are an American jam band formed in Athens, Georgia in 1986. Composed of frontman John Bell, Dave Schools (bass/vocals), Domingo S. Ortiz (percussion), John Hermann (keyboards/vocals), Jimmy Herring (guitar), and Duane Trucks (drums), the band is known for never playing the same show twice and holds the record for the most sold-out shows at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre as of June 2022. Since forming, Widespread Panic have released 12 studio albums -- several of which have climbed the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart -- and 11 live albums, as well as a plethora of archival releases including vintage concert performances and their ongoing Porch Songs series of two-track soundboard recordings. Though they reduced their extensive touring schedule at the end of 2016, the band continues to make festival appearances and multi-night engagements at venues across North America.
