Bossa nova jazz concert at the popular Jax Vineyards tasting room and event space at 326 Brannan Street in SoMa. Tasting room open from 4pm-9pm, live music scheduled from 5:30pm-8pm. Free admission with RSVP.
This Valentine's Day, slip into our candle-lit tasting room to savor a luscious glass and celebrate love with your significant other. We invite you to an evening soundtracked by a silky bossa nova duo. Think soft, sultry guitar and rhythms that sway like a slow dance in Rio.
The night stars the romantic strumming of guitarist Kai Lyons. An SF native, Lyons completed his studies at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in 2012 as the first to graduate from Asawa's acclaimed Classical Guitar Program and later received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from San Francisco State University. Lyons has toured widely, performing in New York City, New Orleans, Brazil, Cuba, the Caribbean, and Ghana, played with Mike Clark and Donald Harrison of Herbie Hancock's Original Headhunters, and was featured in the San Francisco Ballet's production of Carmen.
Admission is free with reservation. For seats, please reserve at
