On Saturday, May 16, Budist is excited to celebrate the release of the groundbreaking 2025 California Harvest Report at the Berkeley Chapel of the Flowers. This special event brings together more than 20 benchmark farms across seven counties to showcase the diversity, craftsmanship, and agricultural heritage of California cannabis. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the terroir, climate, cultivation practices, and people shaping the state's most respected cannabis-producing regions.
We're also proud to feature more than a dozen trade associations, certification programs, and educational partners helping advance the conversation around quality, sustainability, regional identity, and the future of cannabis connoisseurship.
Admission is free and open to all members of the community. The event runs from 2-6pm, and we encourage guests to arrive early to experience the full afternoon of education, tasting, and exploration.
The program includes:
Regional Showcase -- Spanning Humboldt, Mendocino, Trinity, Nevada, Lake, Santa Cruz, and Sonoma counties, the event highlights a diverse cross-section of farms and producers, with a focus on cultivation practices, terroir, and regional expression.
Report Presentation -- A short overview of the 2025 California Harvest Report and key insights from across the state.
Panel Discussions -- Conversations with farms, associations, and certification programs exploring cultivation, quality standards, and regional identity.
Guided Tastings -- Budist-led tasting experiences focused on regional expression and product appreciation.
Food & Beverage -- Fresh organic bites from Ashby Eatery plus a full beverage bar.
We hope you can join us for this one-of-a-kind gathering celebrating the people, places, and practices shaping California cannabis.
