"Dry-ish January" Disco Dance Party 2026

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The Napa Valley Museum of Art & Culture (the MAC) announces tickets on sale for its "Dry-ish January" Disco Dance Party 2026, to be held at The MAC in St Helena on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 7-10 PM.
For those whose idea of "Dry January" is a dry martini with just a splash of vermouth, The MAC's "Dry-ish" celebration is less about deprivation and more about indulgence, rhythm, and (as Julia Child might say) joie de vivre!" DJ Rotten Robbie will be spinning an all-vinyl, all-disco set, and guests will help pick the records. Guests disinclined toward dancing can walk the red carpet to a VIP photo nook and enjoy a smorgasbord of 1970's and 80's-themed treats. It's after hours. It's late night (for Napa Valley, anyway). It's a little dry, full of flavor, and fated to be fabulous!
Charbay Distillery will be pouring its classic clear vodka for dry martinis, while the sobriety-curious will have plenty to enjoy with adaptogen and herb flavored mocktails from Curious Elixirs, the drink voted "best nonalcoholic drink" by The New York Times five years in a row. Guests can knock back a "shooter" containing a delicious oyster from Osprey Seafood, swimming in a bubbling sea of Bloody Mary mix, and sample some of the delicacies that made the 1970s and 80's so memorable.
The party takes place in the Ron & Diane Disney Miller" Main Gallery at The MAC, within the exhibition "Julia Child: A Recipe for Life" celebrating the bold spirit and timeless influence of the beloved chef who taught America to cook. Guests are encouraged to fully embrace the era, by making their own playlist of favorite Disco tunes, putting on their best Boogie Shoes, and donning their Disco Duds - outfits inspired by the era -- from velour bell-bottoms, unbuttoned Quiana shirts, shimmery sequin jumpsuits, glittery eye shadow and mood rings, or "Bee Gees" white polyester suits.

Must be 21+ to attend.
