Edna Vazquez is fearless singer, songwriter and guitarist whose powerful voice and spell-binding musical talent transcend the boundaries of language to engage and uplift her audience. Vazquez has grown as a musical artist and collaborator over the last years touring with Pink Martini, solo performances currently.
She led her own band projects in the past Edna Vazquez Quartet, then became a Quintet, Rock Band No Passengers, and the latest, the Edna Vazquez Band. Vazquez also participated in the Latin Grammy's with the all female mariachi fusion band from New York City, Latin Grammy 2017 winners, Flor de Toloache and accompanying Natalia Lafourcade that night.
In 2022, she participated in two great events, one in Canto en Resistencia (Power to the People!) in LA Phil with Devendra Banhardt, Ile, Silvana Estrada, Rodrigo Amarante, Jorge Glem, and conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. The other performance was at The Hollywood Bowl with the acclaimed pianist Lang Lang and the LAPhill, performing "DESTINO" (1946), a film collaboration between Salvador Dalí and Walt Disney.
Edna Vazquez is currently expanding as a world class musician with the acclaimed 'Little Big Band" Pink Martini and interactions with symphonies from all over the US, and the world, such as (France, Grece, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Budapest, London, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Israel, Canada, and Mexico) and as a soloist.
