Learn About the Care of Rhododendrons

On Wednesday February 18, 2026 at 4 PM, at the Legallet Residence, 88 Selby Lane, Atherton 94027, the De Anza Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society shall have a program by Dennis McKiver on rhododendrons.

Dennis McKiver is a past president of the Noyo Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society, has led tours of the Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden, and is very knowledgeable about rhododendrons.

In planting rhododendrons, Dennis McKiver recommends that the plant be taken out of the pot, placed on the ground, and have mulch placed around the root ball.
