Points of Departure: From Reverence to Restaurant An Opening Celebration at Greens As Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture approaches its 50th anniversary in 2027, we're honored to host the Spring 2026 launch of Points of Departure, a new live event series celebrating the people, places, and ideas that have shaped Fort Mason Center -- and our shared history within it. The evening begins with a sunset reception featuring legacy bites from our early menus, paired with sparkling wine and a signature cocktail. Guests will then gather for a seated dinner inspired by our Tassajara roots, reflecting the farmers, values, and culinary traditions that have guided our cooking for decades, served with a thoughtful selection of wines and desserts drawn from our history. The program includes a panel conversation with Executive Chef Katie Reicher and other pivotal voices who have shaped our evolution, along with historic visuals and a behind-the-scenes look at our restaurant today. Join us as we celebrate Fort Mason Center's past, present, and future.
