SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join the Internet Archive on January 21 for The Case of the Disappearing Copyright--a daytime virtual celebration of newly public domain works.

On January 1, creative works from 1930 and sound recordings from 1925 entered the public domain in the US, including:
Nancy Drew's first four mysteries
Miss Marple appeared in her first novel, Agatha Christie's "The Murder at the Vicarage"
Betty Boop's debut ("Dizzy Dishes")
Disney's Pluto (first known as Rover)
"All Quiet on the Western Front"
"The Little Engine That Could"
"Georgia on My Mind," "I Got Rhythm," & "Dream a Little Dream of Me"
"King of Jazz"

Crack the case with us as we explore these newly liberated cultural gems--guided by librarians, artists, musicians, scholars, and advocates celebrating creativity without limits.
