The Kid LAROI with Tommy Richman
The Kid LAROI is an Australian rapper and singer from the suburbs of Sydney. Born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, the rising star got his big break after opening for Juice WRLD on the late rapper's tours of Australia in 2018 and 2019. Following a string of one-off singles like "Diva," "Addison Rae" and the Lil Tjay collaboration "Fade Away," in 2020 The Kid LAROI released his debut mixtape F*ck Love, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The deluxe edition, F*ck Love (Savage), earned the singer his first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to "Without You" featuring Miley Cyrus, which also led to his debut Saturday Night Live performance with Cyrus. In 2021, The Kid LAROI earned a global No. 1 hit with the Justin Bieber duet "Stay," which went on to be certified Diamond by the RIAA and logged a record-setting hold on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2022, The Kid LAROI received the coveted Best New Artist nomination at the 64th Grammys. Since then, the artist has released his debut studio album The First Time (2023)--which hit the Top 40 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the ARIA Albums chart--plus contributed the song "Forever & Again" to the Barbie soundtrack, and dropped his 2024 documentary Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About A Kid Named Laroi. In 2024, the artist also released singles including "GIRLS," "APEROL SPRITZ," and "SLOW IT DOWN" featuring Quavo. In 2025, The Kid LAROI released several singles, including "All I Want Is You," How Does It Feel?" and "She Don't Need to Know." In January 2026, the artist released his third full-length project, Before I Forget, featuring the single "A Cold Play." The album landed at No. 6 on the Billboard 200.
